Good place for snow tubing. Reasonable prices and a nice fast slope.

Since this is a tubing hill that competes with the other right next to it (my dad enjoys swerving between the two roads that lead to each one (where two people with signs for each one stand (their talent varies)) before choosing to see what the people will do) and since I've been to both I'm just going to tell you what this one has that the other doesn't. 1. A dog will often be in the checkout room and he's super nice so always a plus. 2. Better parking by far, mud covered roads where you will get dirty is at the other one. 3. A standing walkway escalator to the top of the hill. 4. This one isn't as much of a workout as the other so you don't feel beat up and tired after going. 5. The hills are smoother and the length of how far you go varies. 6. This one ranks their hills like a ski hill does so you choose the difficulty instead of figuring it out for yourself. 7. Not drop off hills like a cliff like the other one, which is a good or bad thing depending on the adrenaline rush you want, but the hills point hurts your butt when you use it so + for me. 8. Longer walk to the hill. 9. The bottom of the hill is where you park so you'll always end your day by going down the hill. 10. Personally, better tubes.

Will not be returning. I’ve been tubing at Keystone several times, so I was thinking that this would be similar. It was not. Pros-1. Parking was close to the hill. 2. Pricing was cheaper than some places. 3. Hill was smooth and well maintained. Cons-1. Hill for small children was closed due to lack of snow. They make their own snow, but apparently only use it for the larger tubing hill(this is what we were told). If you have small children, call first so that you don’t waste a trip. 2. Staff in charge of ticketing was overwhelmed and didn’t seem to be able to answer questions. 3. Dangerous. No staff were present at the top of the hill to guide riders. This would be fine assuming that all patrons have common sense about safety. No mandatory safety video prior. There was one gentleman at the bottom of the hill that was in charge of clearing the area and making sure that no one got pummeled into. He failed miserably. This is not because of the volume of people coming down the hill-he just didn’t seem to be interested in performing his job. Several people were attempting to move the tubes from the bottom of the hill, but were run into by riders coming down. My niece was pushed so hard that she fell out of her tube and onto her head. Tickets were sold even after they ran out of helmets for children. Conveyor belt/lift should be wider to accommodate the tubes. Several riders got stuck or pushed to the side because the tubes were hung up on the metal on either side of the belt. 4. Dirty. Cow patties everywhere-watch where you walk! Ladies restroom toilet was old and dirty and had a small remnant of a handle to flush. Toilets are not that expensive, people.

Loved this place. Friendly staff and lots of snow. Great for the family!

Long story short, I would rather pay a few dollars an hour more to tube in a clean and safer facility.

The view driving through the mountains was fabulous and breath taking! When we arrived to Winter Park we weren't in a rush because we were taking pictures and drooling over how awesome the view was! Here is south Texas we don't see snow but every 5 to 10 years and it melts too quickly to really enjoy it. So as we got into the little shack to purchase our tickets we noticed chaos with kids running around and confused faces on adults wondering what to do first. We got through it within an hour then got to go play. The conveyer belt didn't hold the tubes very well so it took all we had to hold it until we reached the top. My five year old nephew struggled yet he never gave up. He could have played on that hill from sun up to sun down if we let him. The cold didn't bother him one bit. This was a fun experience and I hope to return next winter. If you've never been I highly recommend you to go!
